If you have MOBO soundcard, disable your MOBO sound driver if you wnat more stability using generic ASIO with Focusrite so that you will get rid of IRQ overruns between multiple sound devices (If using non Focusrite driver). ASIO4ALL / GENERIC ASIO is buggy if it is picking up Internal Soundcard + FocusRite. Heavens closed, Hells sold out, so I walk on Earth.

Since youre just using it for stereo playback you should be able to uninstall the Focusrite drivers and use the Windows 10 UAC2 driver which will likely fic your problems. Then use Focusrite MixCOntrol panel to set your buffer and latency setting. Which is unfortunate since the 2i2 is a nice little piece of hardware.

I tried to install other drivers, put when I press the button, the same problem occures. I am on Windows, so we will install the provided driver. I followed every step on the website in order to install drivers, but when I plugged my Scarlett 2i2 in, it kept disconnecting and reconnecting every time. Might that be because the audio card can't be accessed by two different sources? Thank you! I have bought the Scarlett 2i2 today, and I was looking forward to trying it. ANn also, when I switch the driver to the generic low latency, the youtube tutorials I was trying to watch would not load. Windows users will need the ASIO USB driver that Apple users will not.
